If done so, it will be worthless in quality and longevity. Mission

CURRICULUM

Through the School all lessons are taught in English. Discovery which prepares the children for the Tamil Nadu State Curriculum which is used from First Standard onwards.

From Class I to V Standard
All pupils study English and Tamil. They can also study Hindi if they wish. Provision is made for students from other states unable to study Tamil. From VI to X Standard, they study English and Tamil.
For Class X Standard
Students take SSLC (Tamil Nadu State Board Secondary School Leaving Certificate). Pupils study Tamil, English, Maths, Science, Social, Physical Education, and Value Education.
For Class XI and XII Standard
Students appear for HSC (Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate). They study English and Tamil, choosing either Science (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Computer Science) or Commerce (Accountancy, Commerce, Economics, and Business Maths or Computer Application).
ACTIVITIES
ADMISSION

Admissions are normally made in L.K.G. Application forms will be issued at the School Office during the first week of February. It is important that correct details are furnished in the application form. The application form must be carefully filled up and submitted to the School Office within seven days from the date of issue. The Xerox copies of the following certificates must be attached to the application form.

Not only we provide you the practical skills that is necessary to transition seamlessly into the workforce upon your graduation, but we also make sure that you will have a good sense of social justice so that you make the transition responsibly.

FUTSOL AND BASKET BALL COURTS

State-of-the-art synthetic futsal football and basketball courts, scientifically designed, and of superior quality has been installed. The playing surface is safe, absorbs shock and has a good grip to prevent injuries. This is the place where the future Messi’s and Michael Jordan’s of Pushpalata Matric practice to become world class players.

BASKETBALL AND TENNIS COURTS

In our school separate space has been provided for Basketball and Tennis, where courts are constructed as per the norms.

SPORTZ VILLAGE
They learn holistically through physical activity and sports which helps children improve their health and fitness levels dramatically. Students are trained by Sportz Village resource persons.
SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Sports activities are the focal point for sporting activities. Regular evening coaching classes for students happen after school hours. They include – Basketball, Football, Cricket, Swim, Throwball, Athletics, Tennikoit, Kho Kho, Kabaddi and Badminton

NEET/JEE
The study material which has been compiled by our well trained faculty after extensive research is comprehensive yet simple to understand. The specially tailored curriculum takes responsibility for board exam preparations simultaneously. The curriculum is updated every year to keep step with the fast-changing test pattern. Teachers are the combination of vast knowledge and rich academic experience. The periodic tests provide sample practice for competitive examinations like JEE and NEET and are similar to the patterns of those examinations.

FIELD TRIPS AND CAMP

1. Tour of the Nourished Nursery – From Pre KG to 3rd std – visited Vana Tirupathi, Park .

2. The Procession of Buds through our Cultural Channel – students of 4th & 5th standards visited Thoothukudi – the church of Our Lady of Snow, Stem Park, Pearl Beach, Krishnapuram Ancient Temple.

3.In and around of the tip of India’s southernmost parts’ tour programme-students of 6th to 9th standards visited Thirpurappu Falls, Padmanathapuram Palace and Kanyakumari.

4.In the Landscape of God (கடவுளின் பூமி), a vast tour for our Higher standards’ students of 10th to 12th visited Thiruvanthapuram – Zoo, Museum, Valley Beach, Park and Kovalam Beach .

SCHOOL TRANSPORT

The School provides transport service to cover all neighbouring places for easy and safe transportation of our students. Details of the route, timing and pick-up points can be had from the office. Students should be present at the boarding points well in advance of the pick-up time. The bus will pick-up only those pupils who are readily waiting at the boarding points. While every effort is being made to run the transport regularly, no alternate arrangements can be made in case the bus does not run due to break down or any other unforeseen cause beyond our control. On any account, the transport fees should not be paid to bus driver or conductor. It should be paid in the office. Our school buses enroute in the following routes.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
  1. Students must be present inside the classroom before 8.45 a.m.
  2. Pupils who come to class without the proper uniform must bring a note of excuse from their parents, else they may be asked to return home.
  3. Pupils must be very regular in attendance. Pupils should produce the leave letter whenever they are absent.
  4. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of work, cheating in examinations, disobedience or disrespect to members of the staff, or bad moral influence upon other children all justify dismissal from the school.
  5. Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school. Hence, misbehavior in pupils or streets in conveyances justifies dismissal.
  6. Children are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises during school hours without the prior permission of the principal.
  7. The school cannot make itself responsible for books, money, fountain pens, tiffin carriers, and other articles that are lost. The pupils must look after their own things. It is not advisable for students to have much money or expensive jewelry and ornaments on their person.
  8. Visits to members of the staff by pupils and parents or guardians are not allowed.
  9. No books or magazines, playthings, or cell phones may be brought to the school or circulated among the students without the permission of the principal.
  10. Bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, and other playthings inside the school campus is strictly prohibited.
  11. Students are not allowed to wear silver or gold ornaments inside the school. The management will not take responsibility.
  12. Students should come in white uniform on Mondays and red uniform on other days.
  13. Students must come in a neat uniform along with an ID card, shoes, socks, and belt.
  14. Boys must always be inside the campus with their shirts tucked in.
  15. No students are allowed to come with nail polish and mehendi.
  16. Students should undergo regular haircuts and nail cuts.
  17. Avoid taking more leave. If taking leave, parents are requested to come and sign in the school register on the very next day.
  18. Students should submit the leave letter to their class teacher with their parent’s signature.
  19. Girls must always part their hair in the middle and wear it in a double braid.
  20. 6th to 12th standard students are allowed to come only in uniform on their birthdays.
  21. Students are not allowed to ride bikes while coming to school. If doing so, they will not be permitted inside the school campus.
  22. Students must attend the evening classes and extra coaching classes which will be conducted for the welfare of our students. Hereby, I agree to obey the school rules and regulations mentioned above.
  23. Collection of money or selling of tickets for any purpose requires the sanction of the principal.
  24. All are expected to speak English inside the school.
  25. Pupils are not supposed to shout or play inside the classrooms or in the corridors.
  26. Absentees for the examination without a proper reason will be considered as detained. No re-examination will be held on any account.
  27. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  28. For promotion, the child’s attendance and his/her performance for the whole year will be taken into consideration.
  29. The management reserves the right to issue a T.C. when the pupils do not obey the rules of the school.
  30. Parents are requested to read the above regulations carefully and ensure that their children abide by them.
